2013 Grammy Awards

Sunday's show was by far one of the best Grammy's I have seen in a very long time. The performances were OUT of this world!! I think my favorite had to be Bruno Mars featuring Sting, Rihanna, and the Marley brothers. They paid great tribute to the late Bob Marley and had everyone out of their seats dancing.

Mumford and Sons, and The Black Keys also had great performances. Their music moves people and gives off an energy in a way that no word can describe.

Justin Timberlake also made an amazing comeback, with his performance along side good friend and rapper mogul Jay-Z.

Not only was the entertainment amazing, but the wardrobe was also a hit! These are my top favorite looks of the night!! Enjoy!

Miss  Katy Perry decided to go with a Priscilla Presley inspired mint dress by Gucci

Carrie Underwood went with a classic black gown for the Red Carpet. Her performance gown however, was made with LED lights that changed to the lyrics of her song. It was unique and amazing, and left everyone on their feet giving a standing ovation.

Kelly Rowland also looked gorgeous, keeping in mind (sort of) the new dress code policy of the Grammy's this year. She most certainly pushed the envelope this year with her ever so slightly revealing George Chakra dress. Someone else who is known for her risque gowns, like the Versace dress she wore in 2000, Jennifer Lopez kept her lady bits covered, but she couldn't resist showing a little leg in the Anthony Vaccarello gown.

Rihanna was three-for-three last night with all the looks worn last night. She kicked off the show on the Red Carpet with her amazing red gown, kept it going with a vintage Alaia dress for her performance, and than AGAIN with the 2 piece Archive Luciano Sopriano look during the Bob Marley tribute. All in all this little Barbados Queen nailed it.

Also looking fabulous last night were Alicia Keys, Adele, Beyonce, and Bonnie Mckee. These ladies never disappoint!

2013 Inauguration Fashion

Iconic. Perfection. These are just some ways to describe the fashion of the First Lady Michelle Obama. The entire Obama family walked into the White House with poise and grace looking more radiant than ever at their last and final inauguration for President Barack Obama.

Michelle is wearing a gorgeous coat and dress by NYC designer Thom Browne, a belt from J. Crew and boots from Reed Krakoff.

Elegance and a great sense of fashion are a few of the many things the First Lady has passed down to her daughters. They looked like such polished young ladies yesterday.  Malia was wearing a J. Crew plum peacoat with a blue frock underneath. Her younger sister Sasha also went with a pop of color wearing a purple sleeveless dress with a matching peacoat by Kate Spade, and a necklace as her statement piece.

The Obamas were not the only ones who looked amazing yesterday. Beyonce blew us out of the water yet AGAIN with her Pucci dress and Dior coat. She went above and beyond with over 2.5 million dollars worth of emerald accessories. She looked simply breathetaking. Jay-Z didn't look too bad either.

There was more fashion to celebrate during the Inauguration Ball. Michelle changed into a beautiful red gown by Jason Wu, the same designer who made her dress for the 2009 ceremony.

The Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden also look fabulous during the ball wearing a silky blue Vera Wang gown.

Also dressed to the nines were performers Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson; both looked awe-inspiring.

Congratulations to the Obama family, I wish them a successful term and look forward to the upcoming fashion they have to show us!
