The 2014 Oscars...

kept it real. I mean how often do we see celebrities order and actually eat pizza!? Let's not forget about the epic selfie that was taken and CRASHED twitter!!

"AND THE OSCAR FOR THE BEST DRESSED GOES TO....."

I couldn't pick just one, so I picked 5. Ooops?

1. Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace.

 2. The angelic Lupita Nyong'o in a "Nairobi" blue gown from Prada.

3. Although I was not a fan of her hair, Jennifer Lawrence did look gorgeous in her Dior gown tailored to perfection.

4. Amy Adams staying true to her sense of style in this Gucci gown.

5. Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab Haute couture looked FAB, her 42 carat diamond earrings were also beautiful.  I also wouldn't mind having Brad Pitt as an accessory either.

The most touching moment of the night was Jared Leto winning best supporting actor. His acceptance speech was absolutely riveting. There need to be more people like him in this world. He is beautiful on the inside....and out.

PUNK: CHAOS TO COUTURE

Hollywood didn't hold back at this years Met Gala, focusing on the "punk" theme of the night. I personally had a few favorites of the night, like Nicole Richie in TopShop and Sarah Jessica Parker in Giles Deacon with a head piece by Philip Treacy.

These woman really went all out, from head toe. Speaking of head to toe, Kim Kardashian was literally decorated in a not so flattering floral pattern, including a pair of shoes and gloves, that matched her dress. I will let you be the judge!

Let's take a look at most of the amazing fashion from the night.

Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy

                                          Emma Watson in Prabal Gurung

Leslie Mann & Kate Upton in DVF

                                                  Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

Kristen Stewart in Stella McCartney

Gwen Stefani in Maison Martin Margiela

Heidi Klum in Marchesa

                                                       Sienna Miller in Burberry

Anne Hathaway in Valentino Couture

                                            Taylor Swift in J.Mendel

Jessica Biehl in Giambattista Valli

                                            Jennifer Lopez in Michael Kors

Blake Lively in Gucci

                                                  Jessica Alba in Tory Burch

Claire Danes in Oscar de la Renta

                                                                              Beyonce in Givenchy

                Minka Kelly in Carolina Herrera

Dakota Fanning in Rodarte

Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs

Katy Perry in Dolce & Gabbana

Ashley Greene in Marchesa

My favorite look from the entire night goes to Rooney Mara. The bold lip was a perfect nod to the "punk" theme. Her flawless skin, perfect brows, and sleek hair really pulled the whole look together. She looked simply amazing in this elegant Givenchy gown.  Well done Ms. Mara!

Oscar Awards 2013

It is no surprise that Ben Affleck is the #2 trending topic after his BIG win at the Oscar Awards. His acceptance speech was wonderful and incredibly uplifting. I am biased though, considering I have had a crush on him since I was about ten years old.

Ben Affleck wasn't the only one to take home an award. Many other deserving artists were able to call themselves winners.

It wasn't just the winners everyone was gushing over though, the Red Carpet was flowing with one amazing gown after the other. The best dressed of the night in my opinion goes just like this...

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture

 Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen

Jessica Chastain in Armani

Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille

Kelly Rowland in Donna Karan Atelier

Halle Berry in Versace

Kristin Chenoweth in Tony Ward Couture

Reese Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton

Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani

Maria Menounos in Romona Keveza

Jennifer Garner in Gucci

Unstoppable Adele gave a breath taking performance singing "Skyfall" which garnered the vocalist her first Oscar.

The beauty on Oscar night trended toward vintage "Hollywood Glamour". It is no surprise since we have been seeing a lot of this at recent award shows.
